Seemed Close Yet Far (1)

The bell for the first shifting class in the afternoon rang.

Ruan Qingmu stepped into the classroom through the back door just in time.

On this hot day, many girls brought their beautiful water cups.

Boys generally wouldn’t use these and mostly brought water bottles.

The chemistry teacher already stood on the podium and he looked at Ruan Qingmu, who had just entered, in dissatisfaction.

“Quickly sit down.

The class has already started.”

The teacher lectured about the new lesson for that day on top of the podium while the students in the classroom listened attentively and quietly.

Ruan Qingmu put on his earphones.

While the teacher was writing on the blackboard, he extended his hand and quickly placed a bottle of cold beverage on Qin Yuan’s desk.

It was the most expensive orange juice drink sold in the small convenience store.

The yellow color glistened with tiny condensations clinging to the bottle.

Qin Yuan’s gaze moved from the blackboard to the desk, staring at the bottle of iced orange juice and then at Ruan Qingmu.

Ruan Qingmu shrugged his shoulders and pointed at the blackboard at the back.

Qin Yuan finally understood and his gaze became slightly gentler.

He swiftly glanced at the teacher and silently mouthed a question.

“A treat”

Ruan Qingmu lowered his head, tore up a small slip of paper, hastily wrote something, and threw it over.

“Niu Xiaoqing wants to thank you.

She said she would treat you for a week!”

Qin Yuan just reached out to take the drink and wanted to open the lid.

Upon seeing the slip of paper, he stopped.

He indifferently glanced at Ruan Qingmu, then reached out and placed the orange juice back on the desk and didn’t bother to look at him again.

His phone inside the desk drawer still burned hot as he had scrolled through it for the whole noon.

Fu Songhua was bored during the entire lunch break and kept sending the gossip from every group to him.

Ruan Qingmu marveled at him.

After a while, he couldn’t help but throw another piece of paper at him again.

“Hurry up, it’s tastier while it’s still cold.”

The classroom was full of top students and their discipline was exceptionally good.

With Ruan Qingmu’s constant movements, the chemistry teacher on the podium already noticed the abnormal scene in the back and suddenly yelled out, “What are you doing! How many papers have you thrown already”

Qin Yuan’s body stiffened and he quickly shot a glance at Ruan Qingmu; the look was full of warning.

But Ruan Qingmu was wearing earphones and he simply didn’t hear the chemistry teacher yelling at him.

Seeing Qin Yuan’s look of warning, he even grinned at him.

Ruan Qingmu had just opened his mouth when a flying object suddenly entered his mouth.

Ruan Qingmu was dumbfounded.

After being stunned for a second, he hurriedly spat the object out.

It was the tip of chalk!

The chemistry teacher shouted at him, “Ruan Qingmu, stand up!”

Aiya.

He didn’t expect this chalk god to be so awesome today and could actually toss it accurately into the target’s mouth.

Ruan Qingmu helplessly stood up and swiftly tore off his earphones, his head lowered.

“You have your earphones on during class!” His movement didn’t escape the chemistry teacher’s eyes and he angrily slapped the desk.

“Do you even want to listen to the lesson”

Ruan Qingmu sincerely looked at him.

“Reporting to the teacher, I wanted to listen but couldn’t understand.”

Although what he said could infuriate the teacher, he said it in an excellent manner and his appearance was pure and delicate.

The chemistry teacher held back his anger and said, “Be a little quieter if you don’t understand.

I’m making you leave the room now since you continue to be a disturbance to the other students!”

Ruan Qingmu blinked and obediently bowed his head.

“Okay.”

Amidst the stunned looks of the other students in the competition class, he flipped his wrist and hid his phone and earphone cables in his hand without even batting an eyelid.

Besides, the competition classroom was the advanced class.

After a while, the students attending class inside could see a student being punished outside the window.

He leaned obliquely in the shadow of the corridor pillar, standing sloppily.

With the earphone cords dangling beside his fair-white earlobe, he closed his eyes with a calm face.

Tch, tch.

The first student to be chased out from the competition class! Awesome, he still dared to listen to music even though he was being punished.

After standing there for a while, Ruan Qingmu opened his eyes in boredom and resentfully spat out twice; the taste of chalk in his mouth finally faded.

He was way too careless just now.

After agreeing to help Niu Xiaoquing out and hand the bottle of orange drink over to Qin Yuan, it would be inconvenient for him to be on crutches again and carry the drink at the same time.

So, he had casually stored his crutches inside the classroom of Class 9 in the meantime.

It would be better if he didn’t have to part from it in the future.

As long as he showed up on crutches, the chances of the teacher chasing out a cripple like him were slim, no matter how cruel they were.

Inside the classroom, Qin Yuan sat upright on his seat and his gaze was fixed on the blackboard.

He held a pen in his hand, but his knuckle was a little white from the tightness of his grip.

From his peripheral vision, he saw that person’s figure always standing there like that without changing the weight on his foot.
